I am an examiner for Maths and Physics with AQA. I stopped teaching when my parents needed full time care – you may have read the article in the Bucks Examiner (http://www.getbucks.co.uk/news/local-news/chesham-man-reveals-what-like-11522622). I do my tutoring from their house; it has a back-gate opposite Chesham Grammar School, so students can easily walk to me after school. I gained an upper second honours degree from Exeter in 1990 and have taught throughout my professional career both in Grammar and Comprehensive schools.
In addition to my B.Ed I have the level 4 professional diploma in accountancy from AAT and supplement my income from tutoring with a bit of bookkeeping for small companies. My interests include amateur dramatics, gardening and sailing.
