I am an examiner for Maths and Physics with AQA. I stopped teaching when my parents needed full time care (you may have read the article in the Bucks Examiner (http://www.getbucks.co.uk/news/local-news/chesham-man-reveals-what-like-11522622) I do my tutoring from their house; it has a back-gate opposite Chesham Grammar School, so students can easily walk to me after school. I have taught since graduating from Exeter in 1990, first at Dr Challoner’s Grammar School, and then at The Windsor Boys’ School.

I have an advanced diploma in accountancy from AAT and supplement my income from tutoring with a bit of bookkeeping for small companies. I am an assessor for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme and my interests include amateur dramatics, gardening and sailing.
